Cristiano Ronaldo is Replacing David Beckham as the New Face of Emporio Armani Underwear

Watch out, David Beckham will be replaced with another star footballer!

He won’t be replaced on the soccer field though, but the 34-year-old sport star will have to step aside for Cristiano Ronaldo, who will be the next face (and body) of Emporio Armani Men’s Underwear.

Giorgio Armani announced last weekend that 24-year-old Ronaldo, a player for Spanish club Real Madrid and the national Portuguese team, will be the “new official worldwide testimonial” for Emporio Armani Men’s Underwear and Armani Jeans starting from Spring/Summer 2010.

Beckham, a father of three who is now playing for Los Angeles Galaxy soccer club, has been Emporio Armani Underwear’s face for the last four seasons. He has ‘thrilled’ fans and viewers through his advertisements, one of them could be seen here.

Will Ronaldo’s ads be as thrilling as Beckham’s? Or even better? We’ll see…
