Lots of special show to celebrate the upcoming holiday season!

Not only Jennifer Hudson that will have a Christmas special, another American Idol alum, Carrie Underwood will also have her own special show.

She will be hosting the two-hour project that tentatively titled Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special, planned to be aired December 7. The country singer will perform hits, holiday classics and songs from her upcoming album, and participate in comedy bits. The show will also crowded with lots of musical guests, few of them are; Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley and Underwood’s American Idol successor, David Cook.

Besides preparing for her upcoming special, the Grammy-winner is also preparing to release her third album, Play On, on November 3. Best of luck to you, Carrie!
