Jorja Fox is Back on CSI

Hey CSI fans! here’s a good news: after being away since season 7, our beloved Sara Sidle is back in Las Vegas , baby!

Executive producer of the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Carol Mendelsohn had confirmed that the actress who played Sara Sidle, Jorja Fox, will re-join the team. Not only for a five-episode comeback this season, but her comeback in the show has been extended indefinitely.

As Mendelsohn said, “We will be seeing a lot more of Jorja. The season is about bringing the [CSI] family back together again, so [this] was just a natural. Jorja has been the glue that has really helped to reform the bond of our team.”

Fox was seen for the first time again in the 10th season premiere last September, and was scheduled to appear in four other episodes. But according to Mendelsohn, Fox’s appearances substantially more than five, although the exact number of episodes that Fox will appear in is still being worked out. Mendelsohn had stated, “From our point of view, the more the better. As many episodes as we can have Jorja for we want her for.”

What about Sara Sidle’s other half, Gil Grissom? With Fox back on the series, the character of Grissom is also expected to appear on the show again. When asked about the possibility of Grissom’s comeback, unfortunately Mendelsohn said there are no current plans for Grissom (William Petersen) to join his wife in Las Vegas .
