T. R. Knight is Now Single!

After parted ways with Grey’s Anatomy, T.R. Knight a.k.a former dr. George O’Malley also parted ways with boyfriend Mark Cornelson.

In the news that was first reported by In Touch, sources had confirmed the couple’s break up, although they were together for about two years. A source said, “It’s amicable. It was just a normal breakup. It just ran its course.”

No exact date on when 36-year-old Knight and 20-year-old Cornelson split, but they were still spotted together two weeks ago at the opening of Parade, a stage musical starring the star. It’s Knight’s first project since leaving the ABC prime-time medical drama after five seasons on the show.

But Knight has a lot on his hands than just dealing with a broken heart. He’ll be performing in the musical, Parade, in Los Angeles through November 15. He’s also scheduled to star on Broadway next year in a revival of Lend Me a Tenor.

So long heart break… keep on busy, Knight!
