Nick Zano Will Be Joining Melrose Place?

With the departure of Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Colin Egglesfield, Melrose Place is reportedly looking for new faces, and of them is Nick Zano.

Information that’s coming from the CW insider, the former What I Like About You star is in talks to join the remake of the primetime soap. Zano could serve as a potential replacement for Colin Egglesfield’s character, Auggie, who won’t be living in Melrose Place starting January next year.

If it’s a done deal, Nick is likely to have a role of a doctor, one who crosses paths with Thomas Calabro’s character, Dr. Michael Mancini, and Stephanie Jacobsen’s character, Lauren Yung. Executive Producer Todd Slavkin said about the character, “He will move into the building. He doesn’t take life very seriously. Medicine can be fun as well as serious to him, and he ends up lightening up Lauren.”

Zano is currently starring in Courteney Cox’s new sitcom, Cougar Town, as the boyfriend of Cox’s character, Jules Cobb. Looking forward to see your gorgeous face in more series, Nick!
