Looks like trouble has never been away too long from Naomi Campbell. This time, the supermodel has been sued over a perfume deal.

A fragrance marketing company is suing British supermodel Naomi Campbell for breach of contract, saying she kept millions of dollars in profits that she owed the company for perfumes it helped her develop.

In the lawsuit that was filed on Monday in New York State Supreme Court by the fragrance company, Moodform Mission, Campbell was said has made millions of dollars from the sale of fragrances and cosmetics products conceptualized, created, developed and marketed with the assistance of Moodform Mission.

The lawsuit also stated, Campbell violated a 1998 contract with Moodform Mission by inking a new fragrance-licensing agreement, costing the company a portion of the proceeds from such scents as Naomi Campbell, Cat Deluxe and Seductive Elixir. In more detailed, that arrangement is “a fraudulent scheme arranged by ( Campbell) for the purpose of avoiding her obligation to pay Moodform Mission.”

She was actually sent regular payments, as required by her contract, to the company from 2001 to 2008. But later on, those payments abruptly stopped and that Campbell has ignored communications from the company since then.

The company’s lawyer, Daniel R. Bright, said the firm worked for years — even designing the perfume bottles — to line up a 1998 fragrance deal for Campbell with a German company that later became part of Procter & Gamble Co. In the breach-of-contract lawsuit, Moodform Mission seeks unspecified damages.

Meanwhile, a representative for Campbell said the model denies the allegations made by Moodform Mission. The spokesman also said a statement from Campbelle, saying, “She is confident that the judge and the jury in this case will fully vindicate her.”

Stay tune for developments of the case!
