Upcoming ‘Sex and The City’ Soundtrack
The story about 4 New Yorker women and their “desire adventures”, Sex and the City (SatC), will soon be released in the theaters. Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha, once again emerge as the free-spirited gals of Manhattan.
Not only the movie that was highly anticipated by the fans (esp those who already loyal since they were still a series), the soundtrack itself is something the fans look forward to hear.
Director Michael Patrick King, revealed to Entertainment Weekly, spilling details on the flick’s soundtrack – which includes songs by Fergie and The American Idol finalist, Jennifer Hudson. Hudson herself has her role in SatC, as the film’s biggest new cast member as well, a lucky-in-life, unlucky-in-love assistant named Louise.
She’s the last one in, and will be given the honor of being the last one out, as King revealed her track, “All Dressed Up in Love,” will play over the film’s end credits. According to EW, the song was written by MC Jack Splash and Cee-Lo of Gnarls Barkley.
Fergie, meanwhile, recorded the film’s opening number, an entirely new song called “Labels & Love”. According to King, the singer feared she’d be too busy with two new singles to record the tune. But when New Line Cinema showed her the film, she changed her mind. Of the opening, King told the mag, “It’s an entirely new song with lyrics, but it has the Sex and the City theme as the DNA – on steroids.”
Hmm… can’t hardly wait to get carried away on May 30!!

Only Fergie and Hudson? I love Fergie but dunno about Jeniffer Hudson. Never heard she sings before, even in American Idol.
