Elton John is Hospitalized and Had to Canceled Several Concerts

British singer, Elton John had to postponed three upcoming concerts in Seattle and Portland, as he has checked into the hospital after battling the flu for the last two weeks.

In his official website, the Candle in the Wind singer was said suffered from “a serious case of e-coli bacterial infection and influenza.”

John’s spokesman had clarified the news, but also informed that he’s now feeling much better. 62-year-old John entered the King Edward VII Hospital in Marylebone, London, on Friday. His partner, David Furnish, reportedly spent much of Saturday by his side.

Elton, who performed in Barcelona last Tuesday, reportedly canceled the final leg of his Red Piano tour on Friday, having previously canceled several UK dates due to the illness. Promoters hope to reschedule the Seattle and Portland shows in December.
