Mario Lopez Will Host Miss America 2010

Former Dancing with the Stars contestant, Mario Lopez will soon have himself surrounded by beautiful girls around America.

36-year-old Lopez will be hosting the 2010 Miss America pageant, as confirmed by TLC and the Miss America Organization on Wednesday. This time could be his charm, because this is the third time Lopez serves as the event’s host. He had hosted the 2007 and 2009 pageant before.

The pageant live ceremony will be held at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, January 30, 2010. Next year’s pageant will feature 53 contestants, including Miss District of Columbia, Miss Virgin Islands, and Miss Puerto Rico, who returns after a 50-year absence from the event. As always, the women will compete in interview, swimsuit, evening gown and talent competitions for the title of Miss America.

It looks like Miss America pageant will be merrier with Lopez as host. Girls, say hello again to Mario!
