Dancing with The Stars pro dancer/singer, Julianne Hough and her country singer beau Chuck Wicks are following Josh Radnor and Lindsay Price’s footsteps, going at different directions.

A source said that the decision was mutual. The couple who began dating in 2008 were reportedly never saw each other, and now needed some time apart. The age differences was also rumored as an issue.

30-year-old Wicks and 21-year-old Hough became close while touring with fellow country singer, Brad Paisley. They grew even closer together this past spring when they were paired up together on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars.

When interviewed about their togetherness on the show, Wicks once stated that Hough makes him learn some difficult steps sometimes. Wicks added, “She doesn’t just let me dance around her. She challenges me, makes me pay attention and makes me want to pay attention.”

But despite the report of a breakup, Hough and Wicks are both still expected to attend the Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday where Hough will present and Wicks will be covering the red carpet for Entertainment Tonight.
