Bill Cosby was known as Dr. Cliff Huxtable for years, in the series The Cosby Show, from 1984 to 1992. while potrayed as Huxtable, Bill Cosby was familiar seen with sweaters. It was like a signatured clothes for him.

And now, besides bringing Dr. Huxtable character with charisma, those sweaters will have another role to play. Bill Cosby’s daughter, Evin, figured that she and the whole family could help a charity named for her brother, Ennis, raise a substantial amount of money.

Ennis Cosby, Bill’s only son was murdered in Los Angeles in 1997, when he was about to begin his doctoral studies. So now, the family have the nonprofit organization, “Hello Friend/Ennis William Cosby Foundation”, which raises money to benefit educational programs.

Three of the sweaters will going up for sale on eBay, the auction is scheduled for June 2-12, with minimum bids set at $5,000. Evin Cosby said about the auction, “The price of what some of these sweaters might sell for could make a big difference in the lives of thousands of children”.

Good cause should get good price!
