What is it? well, it’s actually a who. Elisha Cuthbert is the latest added reason for you to keep loyal to the crime drama series. The actress who plays as Jack Bauer’s daughter in the series 24, has joined the ABC drama series in a recurring role.

As announced by the network on Monday, Cuthbert will play the role of Maxine Denver in a six-episode arc, a strong and successful Chicago professional who is forced to put her skepticism of ‘amateur detectives’ aside when the Forgotten Network begins investigating a case close to home.

Cuthbert will debut in episode 11 of the series, sometime in February. The Forgotten, which stars Christian Slater, follows a team of dedicated amateurs who work on murder cases involving unidentified victims after the police have given up.

Not only joining in the new series, Cuthbert will also reprise her Kim Bauer role in a couple of episodes of 24′s upcoming eighth season. Can’t hardly wait to see your appearances, Elisha. Welcome aboard!
