Johnny Depp Won Big at MTV Movie Awards

Some great news are coming from this year’s MTV Movie Awards. some of them are for our beloved Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, Johnny Depp, who takes home two awards. One is for best comedic performance honors for his turn as Captain Jack and the second is for best villain for his role in Sweeney Todd.

Other awards goes to Ellen Page for Best Female Performance in Juno, and Will Smith got his ‘popcorn’ for Best Male Performance. The star of “High School Musical’, Zac Efron, got Best Breakthrough Performance in the movie Hairspray. “Transformers” got the year’s best hit, which was not a surprise, and later promised a sequel (of course). The show was hosted by Mike Myers, ‘the Love Guru’ himself. Also being presented by Tom Cruise, was MTV Generation Award, given to Adam Sandler.
