Billboard Named Daniel Powter as the Biggest One-Hit Wonder of a Decade

This could be a bad decade for Bad Day singer, Daniel Powter.
Powter had been named the king of one-hit wonder of the decade by Billboard with that song, which was the biggest single of 2006. Bad Day reigned on top of the Billboard pop charts for five weeks that year.
The song also being used by competition show American Idol, as their farewell song for contestants during the show’s fifth season. And according BBC News, the track was the most-played song in the UK from 2003 – 2008.
In defining their one-hit wonders, the magazine bestowed the honor to any artist or group whose first single reached the Hot 100’s Top 10, but whose second song failed to reach the Top 25 from 2000 – 2007.
No. 2 on their list is the Terror Squad for Lean Back; and rounding up the top three is Crazy Town with Butterfly. Here’s the complete list of Billboard’s Top 10 One-Hit Wonders Of The Decade:
