Is Ashlee Simpson Pregnant??

UsWeekly gave the news about Ashlee’s pregnancy, but soon got a respond from the hubby-to-be, Pete Wentz.

As he told the MTV News; “There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood. This is all news to me. I can’t wait for the story about how I’m really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover. … I mean really, this is crazy. … I mean we’re engaged, that’s true, and happy about it.”

Ashlee, 23, and Pete, 28, announced their engagement last week. and because of that, the speculation has aroused that the couple are expecting their first child. especially after the news came out on UsWeekly and OK!’s websites. Both claims to have a very dependable source.

On Monday (4/15), a spokesperson for the couple added fuel to the speculation by declining to confirm nor deny this week’s rumors. “We are thrilled to confirm their engagement and congratulate this happy couple,” the rep told MTV News. “Beyond that there is nothing to add.” But then, when asked again if he was denying reports that Simpson is pregnant, Wentz replied, “Yeah.”

Hahaha… whether Pete’s unaware of his answer, or he’s just trapped by question, but it seems to me that it was a YES. Whatever the reality is, why should cover such a good news? Congrats (again) Pete and Ash!!
