Vin Diesel is a New Father

The star of family comedy movie, The Pacifier, Vin Diesel welcomed a baby girl on April 2. But his rep has just told PEOPLE yesterday. He and his girlfriend, model Paloma Jimenez, have quietly become parents of their first child.

The actor himself is currently reprising his role as Dominic Toretto in the fourth sequel of The Fast and The Furious, titled Fast and Furious, which will be released in June 2009, and will next be seen starring in the science-fiction action thriller Babylon AD on August 29.
