Mary J. Blige and Andrea Bocelli will Duet for Grammy’s Haiti Relief

Grammy Awards this year will be different.
Wondering why? Well, that’s because, the music awards show is putting together a special segment this year, to raise money for victims of the Haiti earthquake.
On Wednesday, Grammy organizers said that singer Mary J. Blige and Italian pop tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform a duet singing Simon & Garfunkel’s classic Bridge Over Troubled Water, on the 40th anniversary of that classic track’s Grammy wins for Record, Album and Song of the Year.
Their collaboration will be available for download at iTunes immediately after the show, with all proceeds going to the American Red Cross to benefit earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.
The 52nd annual Grammy Awards will air live Sunday on CBS from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Besides the fundraising segment by Blige, who’s a nine-time Grammy winner, and Bocelli, the event will also include performances by album of the year nominees: BeyoncĂ©, the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, the Dave Matthews Band and country sweetheart, Taylor Swift.
Don’t miss it!
