Coolio Got Arrested

Coolio, the rapper who got famously known for his “Gangsta’s Paradise”, was arrested yesterday during a routine traffic stop. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, they discovered that he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for driving with a suspended driver’s license.

The rapper whose real name is Artis Iver Jr., was pulled over at 1:45 a.m. in West Hollywood when officers noticed the vehicle registration tags on his 1996 Hummer had expired. And after running his name through their computer, they learned of the suspended-license rap.

He was arrested for misdemeanor charge, and then escorted to downtown L.A.’s Parker Center jail and released at about 6:45 a.m. after posting $10,000 bail.

Apparently, forgot to renew the license can cause so much trouble!
