Terrence Howard Release an Album

The former Oscar-nominee for “Hustle and Flow”, Terrence Howard is expanding his talent not only in acting, but also in singing. He is releasing his debut album, “Shine Through It”, on September 2.

The actor who’s recently seen in ‘Iron Man’ said about his new profession, “Music has always been the road that leads to where I’m headed. Film is my vocation, my 9 to 5. In the movies, I’m doing what somebody else is asking to do. Music is my own personal form of expression”.

Produced and written by Howard himself, the Columbia Records release consists of eleven original songs. Even though the album doesn’t even being launched yet, the Los Angeles Times has already called it a “stylish, retro neo-soul album”.

Hmmm… interesting to see if Howard can pull off this album like he did in movies. Good luck with the new album man!
