Ashlee Simpson IS Pregnant!

Ashlee dropped by to MTV headquarters for her appearance on TRL yesterday (4/15), and not only talking about her new album, (eventhough not comfortable) she agreed to talk a bit about the rumour.

When asked by Kim Stolz, this is her answer, “I just think it’s an inappropriate question to ask any woman. For me, that’s something that I didn’t ever want to respond to, because I think it’s an inappropriate question. Some things, you want to keep personal, and I think that when people deny (reports that they’re pregnant), it’s probably because it’s something they want to keep personal.” (source: MTV.com)

But on continued interviews, the singer declined to discuss what wedding plans, if any, the couple have already made. “That’s all so sacred, I need to keep that to myself,” she said. “But he did a great job at picking out the ring,” which she added she wasn’t wearing because it’s being resized. Simpson also said that the couple announced their engagement online because, “It was important for us,” she said. “There was a story coming out and people, with their stories, always write untrue things, and we wanted to let our fans know from us.”

While on People, it has been confirmed from a source close to her family, that Ashlee Simpson IS pregnant and plans to get married next month at a friend’s house in La Jolla, California, north of San Diego.

Which one is true? Couple days ago we’ve also reported this rumors. Does Ashlee wants to follow J-Lo’s or Christina Aguilera’s footsteps, that being the subject of similar speculation for months before finally coming clean?
