A Small Victory for Rob Lowe

Rob Lowe must be feel like a champion, at least for now. on Thursday (6/19), Superior Court Judge Denise de Bellefeuille dismissed two of the 12 allegations made by Lowe’s former nanny, 24-year-old Jessica Gibson.

The two allegations thrown out were related to labor-code violations, on the grounds that there was no legal basis, while Gibson’s sexual harassment claims remain intact.

Statements from Lowe’s attorney, Larry Stein, said “We’re very pleased with today’s outcome. The Lowes have consistently denied any wrongdoing and will be vindicated. The entire family is holding up the best they can”.

From Gibson’s side, her lawyer, John West, responded “We don’t consider this a setback at all, Jessica’s case is still intact as a whole”.

Both parties did not attend the trial, Gibson’s lawyer said about his client didn’t appear, “She’s been lying low. This has been a very traumatic situation for her, she’s doing her best to heal”.

But Rob Lowe cannot breathe the air of freedom just yet, because the next hearing in the matter is set for July 10. Get ready!
