Lily Allen’s Second Album

The rebellious british singer, Lily Allen, announced that her second album recording had been completed.

For this album, she has been working with several musicians, and doing collaboration in writing songs with Klaxons’ frontman Jamie Reynolds. About the collaboration, Allen said, “We had our [studio] session and enlightened each other. We did a cover of Joe Jackson’s ‘Stepin’ Out’.”

While Reynolds responded, “…and that wonderful song that we’re yet to finish. We’ve put a bit of work and we’re getting somewhere near a flow. It’s going alright, we go in on Tuesday (July 1) to do the second session on it. We’ve got another two weeks to hopefully come up with something”.

The 23-year-old singer sounds excited talking about her not-yet-to-be-named second album, “I’m pretty much sure it’s finished and I’ve got a meeting on Tuesday with the label, I’m really happy.” It was reported that a single entitled “Everyone’s At It” will be released in her native country first, Britain.

May this second album be as good as your previous one Lily, can’t wait for the album!
