Eddie Murphy is Retiring

Eddie Murphy, the voice behind ‘Donkey’ character from Shrek, was reported will be retiring from the big screen.

The ‘Dr. Doolittle’ told Extra that his upcoming movie, Meet Dave, is one of his last. This 47-year-old actor said, “Fifty years (old) I’ll have been making movies thirty years and I have close to fifty movies and it is like why am I in the movies…I’ve done that part now. I’ll go back to the stage and do standup.”

Hmmm… at least he’s not retiring entirely, cos we still need an actor with awesome sense of humor. Do not withdrawn so fast Eddie!
