Tatum O’Neal Pleads Guilty

Daughter of actor Ryan O’Neal, Tatum O’Neal, has pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in connection with her arrest early last month for alleged drug possession.

By Manhattan Criminal Court Judge, Elisa Koenderman, the actress was ordered to spend two half-day sessions in a drug treatment program and pay a $95 surcharge.

If she complies, she will get a conditional discharge and the conviction will be erased if she stays out of trouble for one year. Looks like a small sacrifice to pay for her freedom, I guess.

The 44-year-old-actress got busted June 1 on suspicion of buying cocaine on a Manhattan street near her apartment.

Tatum O’Neal had reached her fame at the early age. At age 10, she was the youngest Academy Award winner for ‘Paper Moon’ in 1973. Over the years, she has been struggling to keep sober.

Well hopefully this case will be her lesson for good!
