Amanda Bynes

Star of “Sydney White”, a 1997’s sorority comedy, Amanda Bynes was reported got into a minor car accident Saturday afternoon (8/23) in Los Angeles, police confirmed. As told by LAPD Sgt. Murrel Pettway, “Ms. Bynes was driving a BMW when she made an unsafe turn and another car hit her. It was determined that she was at fault, but no crime was committed.”

Besides no major injuries from the accident, Sgt. Pettway also added, “The other driver complained of minor injuries. Drugs and alcohol were not involved. It was just a typical car accident. There was no serious damage to either vehicle”. Thank God! (more…)

Janet Jackson Launches Her Own Lingerie Line

After much talked about, finally Janet Jackson is ready to launch her lingerie line, Pleasure Principle, this fall.

The ‘Feedback’ singer has teamed with Australian lingerie designer Bruno Schiavi, who just recently helped design Dr. 90210 doc Robert Rey’s line, Dr. Rey’s new Shapewear line, to create an intimates collection.

The name “Pleasure Principle” taken from her hit song in 1987, includes a variety of bra styles and sizes ranging from 32A to 44G. Jackson’s 14-design line of underpinnings will be available in department stores and mass retailers around November. Do not afraid about the price, because the line is affordable, everything is priced under $40! (more…)

Clay Aiken Has a Baby (US Magazine)

American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken and his ‘dear friend’ music producer Jaymes Foster welcomed a baby boy Friday morning.

The singer wrote the birth news on his website, “HE’S HERE! My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken (No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name)”.

Aiken’s mother, Faye, first broke the news by telling Lynda Loveland of Raleigh, N.C., TV station WRAL about the birth. According to Faye, Foster gave birth at a North Carolina hospital.

Bernie Mac Died (People)

The world has lost one of its “Original Kings of Comedy”. Bernie Mac died in Chicago on Saturday morning after a battle with pneumonia. He was 50 years old.

His publicist Danica Smith said in a statement confirming the comedian’s death, “[He] passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital. No other details are available at this time.” She also added, “We ask that his family’s privacy continues to be respected”. (more…)

After got treated for pneumonia, 50-year-old Bernie Mac is responding well to the treatment and hopes to be released in the next few weeks, said by his spokeswoman. On Thursday, Mac’s publicist, Danica Smith said in a statement that the “Ocean’s Eleven” actor condition is stable. (more…)

Morgan Freeman (MSNBC)

Lucius Fox in “The Dark Knight”, Morgan Freeman, was discharged Thursday from Regional Medical Center in Memphis after treated for broken bones and other injuries, also undergoing surgery sustained in a car crash earlier this week.

Freeman’s spokesman, Ken Sunshine said, “He was released today at noon local time and is now resting comfortably”. (more…)

Joker’s case has reached the verdict: closed.

Federal prosecutors have decided not to pursue any further about Heath Ledger’s death. A law enforcement official said on Wednesday that the feds will no longer investigate how the 28-year-old actor got the powerful painkillers that contributed to his overdose death last January. (more…)

Latest Calvin Klein’s commercial for perfume “Secret Obsession”, starring Eva Mendes has set U.S. television networks on the heat. U.S. broadcast networks are refusing to air the commercial for the CK fragrance, where almost bare Mendes was seen rolling around on an unmade bed, while seductively whispers, “Between love and madness lies obsession, Love…madness. Oscar-winning actor, Morgan Freeman, is reported doing okay after his surgery from the accident’s injuries; a broken arm, broken elbow and minor shoulder damage.

As said on Tuesday by his publicist, Donna Lee, “Morgan is doing well after his surgery last night to reconnect nerves and repair damage in his left arm and hand. The surgery last night lasted four and a half hours. He’s visiting with family this morning. As of this morning he’s up and walking around and looking forward to his release in a few days”. (more…)
