The King of Pop had stated on interviews that he will not be joining Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Tito on a Jackson 5 reunion tour. He will support their reunion plan though. Michael’s rep, Dr. Tohme, released a statement from the megastar saying, “My brothers and sisters have my full love and support, and we’ve certainly shared many great experiences, but at this time I have no plans to record or tour with them. I am now in the studio developing new and exciting projects that I look forward to sharing with my fans in concert soon.” Read more

Jennifer Hudson Establish a Foundation For Murder Victim Families

As a follow up from the tragedy that happened recently, singer Jennifer Hudson and her family announced Thursday a new foundation for families of murder victims.

It was named The Hudson-King Foundation for Families of Slain Victims, in honor of Jennifer’s late mother Darnell Hudson Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and nephew Julian King. In a statement, the family said, “The specific purpose of the Foundation is to care for the needs of families who have lost relatives to a violent crime. This encompasses their basic needs of food, clothing and shelter as well as grief counseling.” Read more

Fourth season champ of American Idol, Carrie Underwood was spotted having dinner with a new guy at Stephen Starr’s French bistro Parc in Philadelphia. According to a fellow diner, the country star referred to 36-year-old Stork as her “boyfriend” at the restaurant. The couple were joined by two friends and shared a bottle of Malbec and water with their food. An onlooker said the pair look very cute, and after dinner they skipped down the sidewalk together as they left. Still no confirmations from both camps. Read more

Keanu Reeves and Paparazzi’s Dispute Case Continues

The clash between The Matrix actor, Keanu Reeves and a paparazzi is back on heat last Tuesday!

The actor who played as a driver in Speed told a Los Angeles court that he did not knock down a paparazzo photographer to avoid having his picture taken, saying the man stumbled while walking backward. Reeves testified for about an hour in the civil lawsuit brought against him by Alison Silva. The photographer claimed in the lawsuit that he had lost earnings because of injuries to his wrist in the March 2007 incident.

According to the lawsuit, it was started when the 44-year-old actor was pulling away from the curb in his Porsche outside a private home in the affluent Ranchos Palos Verdes area when “in a sudden, erratic and dangerous manner, (he) drove forward and struck” photographer Alison Silva. Reeves was there to visit his sister. But Reeves said he was certain that the only time his car made contact with Silva was when the paparazzo bent over and put his hand on the hood of his car. He then began stepping backward and fell. Read more

Victoria Beckham will soon be seen in underwear, just like her husband David. The singer-turn-fashionista has just been named as the face of Emporio Armani’s underwear line.

Yap, the Posh Spice has been chosen to follow her soccer star husband’s footsteps of becoming an underwear model for the same fashion brand. Her images won’t be released until February next year, but Armani had announced that the spring/summer 2009 women’s campaign was shot by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Read more

Lily Allen Will Release Her Second Album Next Year

British’s singer Lily Allen had announced dates for the release of her second album, entitled It’s Not Me, It’s You. Phew! Finally!

The album will come out in the United Kingdom on February 9, and the following day in the US and Canada. The album was recorded at Eagle Rock Studios in Los Angeles with producer Greg Kurstin. Allen co-wrote the songs for the album, a bit upgrade from her previous work in which she just wrote lyrics for finished tracks. The 23-year-old singer also plans a North American tour in the Spring of 2009 to help promote the album. Read more

Tom Ford Adds a New Career: Movie Director

Apparently Tom Ford is not only good at designing clothes, but he is also good at directing a movie. Well at least, that’s the latest thing he adds on his resume.

The style icon announced Wednesday his first deal to direct a film. His first picture will be entitled A Single Man, starring Colin Firth, Julianne Moore and Matthew Goode, and is set to begin filming in Los Angeles on Monday. The movie is set in 1962 and tells the story of how Firth’s British college-professor character deals with losing his partner of 16 years. Ford will not only directing, he will also one of the producers in the project. Other producers are Chris Weitz, Andrew Miano and Robert Salerno. Read more

The actor’s shocking decision was said at a benefit for Paul Newman’s camps for kids Monday. When interviewed by Extra television programme, 34-year-old Phoenix said, “I want to take this opportunity… also to give you the exclusive and just talk a little bit about the fact that this will be my last performance as an actor… I’m not doing films anymore.” The two-time Oscar nominee later asked if his statement was serious, and he added, “Yeah. I’m working on my music. I’m done. I’ve been through that.” The actor’s rep had also confirmed the retirement. Read more

Michael Caine as a Co-host for Nobel Peace Concert

Not only Scarlet Johansson who will be a host for this year’s Nobel Peace Concert, senior actor Michael Caine will also become a co-host for the event.

Organizers of the event announced that the 75-year-old actor will accompanied the beautiful Scarlett Johansson on December 11 show, honoring this year’s laureate. The selection of this two-time Academy-award winner; in 1986’s Hannah and Her Sisters and 1999’s The Cider House Rules, was released by organizers a day ahead of the general announcement. Read more
