Amy Winehouse

It was started when Amy Winehouse recorded a potential theme song for a future Bond movie, “Quantum of Solace”. She recorded the song with famous producer Mark Ronson earlier this year.

Too bad the collaboration didn’t came up with a happy ending. The partnership failed, and the track wasn’t chosen by the films producers. Added by Winehouse’s personal problems, her future success is nowhere near her. (more…)

Adrian Grenier and Isabel Lucas (newsday.com)

Isabel Lucas, the girl who was the passenger on Shia LaBeouf’s car crash last month, had been reported no longer a couple with Entourage’s star Adrian Grenier.

It was reported that the couple broke up about three weeks ago, right after the accident that left LaBeouf with a crushed hand. According to a source, “It wasn’t working out. Adrian saw her with Shia and that was kind of it – the crash, their hanging out. He obviously didn’t appreciate it.” Grenier’s rep hasn’t released any comments yet, while Lucas’s rep confirmed the news by saying that the actress is single. (more…)

Peaches Geldof

The daughter of British rocker and Live Aid organizer Sir Bob Geldof, Peaches Geldof, married Max Drummey, an American rocker, Tuesday last week (8/5) at A Little White Chapel in Las Vegas.

The 19-year-old socialite’s wedding was quiet (and quite a secret), said a statement released yesterday by her publicist, detailed, “The couple tied the knot in a simple low-key ceremony in Las Vegas last week, while holidaying in America. Peaches first met Max, 23, a Harvard graduate in anthropology, two years ago. Max’s band, Chester French, played at the ITV iTunes festival, where Peaches was a co-presenter of the show. Their marriage has the full support of their family and friends. Peaches and Max did not want unnecessary publicity, but following growing media speculation, have decided to set out the facts”. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are not playing with their preparations for adding another member in the family.

The couple had just bought a $16 million house in the Brentwood neighborhood of L.A., California that’s (presumably) bigger than their house now. The 9,900-square-foot traditional-style home sits on nearly an acre of property and includes 7 bedrooms, 7 baths, 6 fireplaces, a brick wine cellar, a library and a 3-car garage.

The master bedroom features his and hers master bathrooms. Affleck’s is designed with dark marble; Garner’s is with amber tile. Luxuriousss… (more…)

Keith Urban

Country singer Keith Urban, will sing a duet with Olivia Newton-John on her forthcoming album, “Olivia Newton-John & Friends: A Celebration in Song”. Both Australian natives will sing a song that was originally they co-wrote for Newton-John’s earlier album, “Olivia (2)”. The song is titled “Sunburned Country”.

As a breast cancer survivor, Newton-John will donating her new record’s royalties to the “Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Center”, a comprehensive center for the treatment, care and research of all types of cancer. The album plans to release on Sept. 2, and will packed with much more collaborations and/or duets with her musical friends such as Sir Cliff Richard, Barry Gibb, John Farrar, Delta Goodrem and Richard Marx. Tori Spelling had already agreed to join “90210“, the spin-off of 90’s hit television series “Beverly Hills 90210″, but that plan might not be working as smooth as it was planned to be.

It was reported that there’s a contract controversy, which makes Spelling re-considered about being part of the team. Insiders said that Spelling was hired to reprise her role as fashion boutique owner Donna Martin for just $10,000-$20,000 per episode. But then the other 2 alums; Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty were signed for $35,000-$50,000 a show. (more…)

Hayden Panettiere and Her Family

The cheerleader from “Heroes”, Hayden Panettiere is in the middle of trouble. Her father got arrested Monday morning (8/11) on suspicion of hitting his wife, Hayden’s mom, Lesley Vogel.

Previously on Sunday evening, Hayden hosted a benefit for the Whaleman Foundation at Eva Longoria’s Beso restaurant in Hollywood, also attended by her parents. An eyewitness from the event said, the pair were seen arguing. Then, at 3:15 a.m, 49-year-old Alan Panettiere was arrested by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies at the family’s West Hollywood home. (more…)

American singer Katy Perry was not only kissed a girl, but she also kissed an outstanding accomplishment!

The hit song “I Kissed a Girl” led Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart for a seventh week last Thursday, tying the Beatles to become the longest-running No. 1 in the rock era for the singer’s Capitol Records label.

In 1964, The Fab Four ruled for seven weeks with the perky song, “I Want to Hold Your Hand.” Perry was previously tied at No. 2 with the Knack’s 1979 song “My Sharona.” If her song can hang on for three more weeks, it will tie rapper Flo Rida’s “Low” as the second longest-running No. 1 of 2008. Taylor Swift (AOLCDN)

She’s only 18, but Taylor Swift has so much to give!

On Friday (8/8), the country sweetheart generously donated $100,000 to the local Red Cross, when she performed on a concert at Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The residents of the city had suffered millions of dollars in damages and thousands of job losses when the Cedar River swelled and submerged the town, about two months ago. The devastation along other riverbanks in the state was dubbed Iowa’s Katrina. (more…)
