Not only dominated by common people in the society, more and more celebrities also against California’s Proposition 8, and some of them are not hestitate to talk about it.

Famous talkshow host, Ellen DeGeneres who was just getting married last month to actress Portia de Rossi, definitely against the ballot initiative popularly known as Prop 8. She described the wording of Prop 8 as tricky. As the 50-year-old actress wrote on her blog, “There’s a California Proposition on the ballot that’s a little confusing …. It’s called, ‘The California Marriage Protection Act’ – but don’t let the name fool you” she added, “It’s not protecting anyone’s marriage. Not yours. Not mine”. (more…)

Ellen DeGeneres is celebrating so much on her life right now. Her popular talkshow just starting a new season, she’s now finally married to Portia, and another thing to celebrate, as she announced it on Tuesday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

The talkshow host talked to her audience, “You know how I always like to share what’s going on in my life with you all, and I was going to give you some news and, unfortunately, rumors started circulating all over the Internet”. The funny woman continued, “I am here to set the record straight right now. I am not pregnant. It just turned out to be a bump. I went and had it checked out”. (more…)

Ellen and Portia Finally Married

Famous TV presenter, Ellen DeGeneres officially tied the knot with her longtime girlfriend actress Portia de Rossi. On Saturday night, the couple have become a pioneer to be legally wed, since California ended a ban on same-sex marriage about three months ago.

The pair’s spokeperson stated that “Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married tonight in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles.” 50-year-old DeGeneres and 35-year-old de Rossi were married before 19 guests including DeGeneres’ mom, Betty, and de Rossi’s mother, Margaret Rogers, who had flown in from Australia.

Both wore Zac Posen and exchanged rings by Neil Lane during the ceremony, also featured flower arrangements by L.A. florist Mark’s Garden. (more…)

Ellen DeGeneres is celebrating her life at the moment. She has won her fourth Daytime Emmy in a row for best talk show host. Came to the Awards Show accompanied by her partner, Portia de Rossi who look stunning in her green dress, black-and-white Ellen beat Regis Philbin, Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg to the prize. Good news for gay and lesbian in California, because starting yesterday -May 15th- as we quote from Yahoo!News, California’s Supreme Court declared that gay couples in the nation’s biggest state can marry.

And of course with this good news, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres won’t miss the opportunity she has been waiting for to tie the knot with her partner, actress Portia de Rossi. They have been in a relationship since 2004, and 4 years is long enough to make it official. (more…)

The famous talkshow host and tv personality, Ellen DeGeneres, celebrating her 50th birthday with a party in Southern California over the weekend.

The party held on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank (location for Ellen taping her show), and was set up like a carnival. It has a 10-ft. elephant topiaries, a Ferris wheel, bumper cars, carousel, dunk tank and stilt-walkers. (more…)
